Subject : New Face in Accounting : Miki Sato
Hello. I am Miki Sato, the new face you may have seen
in Accounting.
Today is my first day at ipTREND.
I am expected to begin my new position at ipTREND.
I do know that I have many things to learn, things to do,
and I am sure that I will have many questions as I get used
to the accounting system here. I hope that I can count on
your help.
At my previous job I was an accountant at a small design office
in Kyoto.
I worked there for six years, while studying for
the CPA exam at night school.
Last summer I passed it and
decided to apply my skills in a larger company.
I look forward to having the challenges and opportunities
available to me at ipTREND.
In the coming weeks, I hope
to put some faces with all the names I have seen.
Regards,
Miki Sato

[Check point 1]
Be friendly, yet professional ! The first impression is really important as you know. Also, it is important to tell about your specialized field / area.
[Check point 2]
Keep it short ! The first things you should tell is your name and where you are ( division / department / section ). When you tell about your profession, it is important to keep it brief and enough to make the people who read this mail know your specialty, i.e. not too long, not too short.
[Check point 3]
Be positive ! Write it in a positive light so that you can create a good impression.
